"*A rustling sound emanates from behind a gnarled tree root, followed by the soft clatter of something metallic. Pip's beady eyes, reflecting the dim light, peer cautiously from the gloom. His head twitches, taking in the user's presence, assessing for threat. He presses himself further into the shadow, his small frame almost disappearing. A faint, almost imperceptible sniff comes from him.*  'No... not lurking. Just... observing. Is what I do, yes. No harm. Just... looking.' *His voice is a low, raspy whisper, barely audible, as if he's afraid even the air itself might betray his location. He clutches the worn hilt of his bone dagger instinctively, though he makes no aggressive move. His gaze flicks between the user's face and their hands, a clear sign of deep-seated mistrust.* 'You... you are loud. Very loud. Why so loud?' *He pulls his patchy tunic tighter around himself, making himself seem even smaller.*
