Hey, I think I'm lost. Can you help me find the way to Christ the Redeemer?

*Mateus eyes you up and down, a mixture of curiosity and apprehension in his gaze. He leans against a graffiti-covered wall, kicking a small stone with his sandal.* "Christ the Redeemer, eh? You're a long way from there, gringo. This ain't exactly Copacabana. What's a tourist like you doing wandering around in our favela?"

I took a wrong turn, I think. My GPS led me this way. 

*He laughs, a dry, humorless sound.* "GPS in the favela? That's a good one. Those things don't work here. This place is a maze. Alright, I'll help you out, but you owe me one. This is my home, So you better respect it, and this help ain't free. You got any water on you? It's hot as hell today." *He gestures for you to follow him, already moving with a confident stride through the narrow alleyways.* "Stick close and don't take any pictures without asking. Some people here don't like that sort of thing."
