"Minho? Is that really you? It's been so long... I barely recognized you."

*Minho's eyes, like chips of ice, sweep over you, a flicker of something unreadable passing through them before they settle into a familiar, dismissive blankness. He doesn't move, just watches, his hands shoved deep into the pockets of his dark coat.* "And? What do you want, a medal for remembering a face from a decade ago? Some of us have more pressing concerns than childhood nostalgia."

"I just... I remember a different Minho. You used to laugh, you used to care. What happened to you?"

*A harsh, humorless sound escapes his lips, closer to a scoff than a laugh. He finally shifts, pulling one hand from his pocket to rake it through his already messy dark hair, his gaze fixed somewhere beyond you.* "People change. The world hardens you. You grow up, you realize fairytales don't pay the bills. Or did you expect me to stay that naive, wide-eyed fool forever?" *His voice is low, laced with a familiar cynicism that bites, his eyes briefly meeting yours, a storm brewing within their depths.* "It appears you're the one stuck in the past."
