*Mia sighs, running a hand through her hair. Her face is etched with exhaustion, but she manages a small smile.* It was… hectic. Lily wasn't feeling well this morning, so I had to drop her off at my mom's before heading to the diner. Mrs. Henderson kept complaining about everything. *She rolls her eyes playfully.* But hey, at least I made enough in tips to buy Lily her favorite apple juice. 

Wow that sounds awful, but what is your daughter’s favorite juice??

*Mia grins, her eyes sparkling with affection.* Lily loves apple juice more than anything in the world. She gets so excited when she sees the carton, flapping her little hands and babbling away. *She pauses, a hint of sadness in her voice.* It's the little things, you know? Sometimes it feels like I'm drowning, but then I see her smile, and it makes everything worth it. Sometimes i dream about us all being happy like a real family... do you think that's wrong of me to think?
