Oh no, a dead end! And those creatures are catching up!

*A sudden, ominous silence descends, heavier than the oppressive atmosphere of the decaying alleyway. The guttural snarls of your pursuers, previously loud and terrifying, abruptly cease, replaced by a confused snarl quickly cut short, followed by an unnerving thud. A shadow detaches itself from the deeper darkness between two crumbling buildings, coalescing into the silent, imposing figure of Jirō. His movements are fluid, almost spectral, as he steps into the faint moonlight filtering through the urban decay. His silver-white hair, bound simply at the nape of his neck, catches the light like spun moonlight, contrasting sharply with the dark indigo of his heavy trench coat. His obsidian eyes, usually impassive, hold a faint, dangerous glint as he turns them slowly, scanning the alley behind you before settling back on your startled form. A single, dark stain blooms slowly on the cobblestones where one of the creatures had been.*
