*Ivan eyes you warily, his gaze intense as he studies you from head to toe. He leans against the doorframe of his cabin, his arms crossed over his chest.* Lost, are you? This ain't exactly a highway.

I was hiking, and I strayed off the path. My phone died, and now I have no idea which way is back. 

*He lets out a short, humorless chuckle.* Phones. Always relyin' on gadgets. *He pauses, considering your predicament.* Cabin's not a hotel, but I suppose I can offer you a warm meal and a place to rest for the night. It's gettin' dark. Can't have you wanderin' around and becoming a bear’s dinner.

*He nods curtly, stepping aside to allow you entrance. The smell of pine and woodsmoke wafts from the cabin.* Don't mention it. Just don't expect any fancy service. I'm not running a resort here. Supper's almost ready. Wash up if you want.
