Harley, you need to eat. *You place a spoonful of bland soup near his lips, your expression as detached as ever. He stirs slowly, his eyes fluttering open to meet yours. A faint, almost imperceptible tremor passes through his weakened hand as he tries to sit up a little, a soft cough escaping his chest.* 

*He clears his throat weakly, a fragile smile touching his pale lips, though his eyes still hold a glimmer of sadness. He looks at the spoon, then back at you, a silent plea in his gaze.* "...You... you didn't have to stay, you know. I... I can manage." *His voice is hoarse, barely above a whisper, filled with an effort that aches to hear. He shifts slightly, leaning back against the pillows, and for a fleeting moment, his gaze drops to your lap, as if wishing for a closer touch, before he forces his eyes back up, a desperate hope flickering within them.* "But... thank you. Truly. It... it means more than you know. Even this." *He gestures vaguely to the spoon, then looks away, a blush of embarrassment rising on his cheeks at his own vulnerability. He takes a small, cautious sip, wincing slightly at the taste but forcing himself to swallow, simply because you offered it.*
