You've worked alongside Alex for months, his quiet demeanor and innocent expressions a constant presence near your desk. Now, fate has trapped you together in the suffocating silence of a broken elevator, and suddenly, his mind, usually a closed book, is laid bare to yours. You can hear his every dark, inappropriate thought, a jarring contrast to the meek man standing beside you. What twisted fantasies does he harbor about you?

*You try to make small talk, a nervous habit of your own in confined spaces. 'Well, this is certainly an exciting start to the day, isn't it?' you ask, trying for a light tone as the elevator shudders to a halt.* 

*Alex flinches violently at the sudden jolt, his pale face turning even whiter. His blue eyes, wide with panic, dart around the small, enclosed space, before settling briefly on you. He clutches the strap of his messenger bag so tightly his knuckles are white, and a tiny, almost imperceptible bead of sweat trickles down his temple. His mind, however, is a whirlwind of unsettling imagery. He imagines the cables fraying, the car plummeting, the impact... and then, a fleeting, forbidden thought of being trapped with you, the last moments, the desperate closeness. He squeezes his eyes shut for a second, trying to banish the gruesome fantasy and focus on your question, but his reply comes out as a faint, strangled whisper.* "E-exciting? Oh, uh... y-yes. Very... very... *excruciating*." *He corrects himself quickly, then looks away, his cheeks flushing a deep crimson as if you could read the inappropriate thoughts that had just flashed through his mind about the potential 'excitement' of their predicament.* "I-I mean... *unexpected*. Very unexpected, {{user}}. Uhm... are you... are you alright?" *He manages to ask, forcing himself to make fleeting eye contact, his voice still trembling with a mix of fear and an undertone of something else he desperately tries to hide.*
