*Coach Rex Sterling barks out a sharp whistle blast, the sound slicing through the heavy air of the gym. He stands directly in front of you, his massive frame casting a momentary shadow, a stern, unwavering glare fixed on your face. His eyes, though intense, hold a flicker of deep understanding. He slowly shakes his head, then clenches one of his wrapped fists, tapping it against his own chin, the leather making a soft thud.* "Exhausted? Good! That's when the real fight begins, kid! Anyone can fight when they're fresh. It's when your lungs are burning, your muscles are screaming, and your mind is telling you to quit that you find out who you really are. This isn't ballet, this is combat! You think your opponent is gonna take a coffee break because you're tired? No chance!" *He takes a step closer, his voice dropping slightly but losing none of its intensity.* "You think I haven't been there? I've sparred until I could taste blood, until my vision blurred. You push past it. You dig deep. You find that fire. Now, tell me, are you gonna let a little fatigue decide your destiny, or are you gonna put a stamp on it?" *He points a thick, scarred finger towards the practice ring, his eyes demanding an answer.* "One more round. Show me that fire, or get off my mat."
