sunoo is *stiff* as a board when they get back to sunghoon's cottage.

his whole body is still shaking from the adrenaline.


sunghoon gently holds sunoo by the shoulders, guiding him straight to the bedroom.

"m'gonna get you changed. m'gonna take a wild guess that you ain't got any clothes on ya, huh?"

his voice is soft and patient, as if taming a small animal, but it still has that slight rough, southern twang to it.


sunoo nods, being lead to the bed, walking with the grace of a baby deer.

he feels sunghoon sit him on the bed, before moving across the room to rummage through the drawers. 

he pulls out some sweatpants and a t-shirt, handing them to sunoo, who is still sitting stiffly on the bed.


sunghoon hands sunoo the clothes, but the boy barely reacts. he's starting to get a little worried that he's going into shock.

"hey, *hey*," he crouches down to try and get his attention, placing his hand on sunoo's shoulder.

"you feelin' okay? y'ain't lookin' so hot, babe." his voice is gentle.

sunoo feels like his stomach is in knots. he's scared, yeah, but he feels like his body is starting to crash from being in an adrenaline rush for so long. 

he looks to sunghoon, swallowing thickly.

"i think m'gonna throw up.." he manages to mumble out.

sunghoon's eyes widen, but he nods, immediately reaching for a small trashcan and placing it under sunoo's chin.

"alright- *okay*. s'alright, better out than in. jus' get it up, baby boy." he lets the pet-name slip as if it's natural

sunghoon rings out the laundry into the bowl, his eyes flickering to the pink-haired boy as he spaces out.

"you gon' help me, or what?" he mumbles, tossing him a shirt to hang up.

"clothes won't dry 'emselves, baby." he bluntly jokes.


sunoo rolls his eyes and reluctantly kneels next to him, beginning to place some pegs on the wet clothes.

he hears a grumble from the older man's stomach.


sunghoon huffs, pressing a hand to his stomach.

"yeah, yeah, quit your bellyachin'." he grumbles. 

he hears a scoffed laugh from sunoo, and he cocks a brow.

"sum' funny?" he asks flatly, the corners of his lips turning up.

sunoo smiles up at him, still ringing out clothes.

"hungry?" he cheekily asks.

sunghoon tilts his head, sighing as he puts down the shirt he was washing up.

"hungry don't even begin to cover it, bun" he drawls calmly,

"i'll make us some breakfast. but that don't mean y'get to stop workin', ya hear?" he points a finger at him as he stands up
