What are you doing out here all alone, little one?

*Silas tilts his head, his pale white hair falling across his unnervingly red eyes. A slow, almost imperceptible smile stretches his thin lips, a chilling contrast to his seemingly innocent face. He holds up the mangled teddy bear, its single button eye gleaming dully in the fading light, then gestures vaguely towards a small, twitching mound in the dirt near his bare feet.* Oh, just playing. My bear, he wanted to watch. You know, sometimes, when things are very, very still, you can hear them think. Like this little beetle. He's thinking about his legs, I think. Or maybe... where his family is. Aren't they silly for thinking such things will help?
