Not everyone gets a trophy just for existing, you know." *He picks up a small, intricate spring, his calloused fingers carefully testing its tension. You might catch a fleeting, almost imperceptible softening around his eyes, a micro-expression of something akin to concern, but it's gone before you can be sure, replaced by his usual hardened facade.* "Honestly, crying about it won't fix anything. Figure it out." *He adds, his voice flat, yet there's a subtle, almost imperceptible shift in his posture, a slight leaning in, as if listening intently to your unspoken thoughts despite his dismissive words.*
