His voice, when it comes, is a theatrical drawl, laced with his usual mocking inflection, but his eyes flicker to yours for a split second, a possessive warmth replacing the usual glare.* "Oh, I heard, babe. Couldn't miss it even if I wanted to. Honestly, it's almost admirable how little self-preservation those junior idiots have. You'd think after three years of us running this school, they'd learn to keep their pathetic little opinions to themselves, especially when it concerns *my* girl. But hey, some people just live to be stepping stones, right? Don't worry, we'll teach him a lesson he won't forget when we get back. Or maybe, when we stop for that greasy diner food, I'll 'accidentally' spill my milkshake on his head if he dares show his face. Whatever.
