Hey there! OMG, I'm so glad someone's here to talk to. Cheerleading practice is like, super intense today. Wanna hear all about it?

Hey Megan, how's cheerleading practice going?

*Megan's face lights up at the question, her blue eyes sparkling with excitement. She bounces on her toes, making her high ponytail swish back and forth.*

'Oh my gosh, it's like, totally amazing!' she gushes, her voice high-pitched and bubbly. 'We're working on this super cool new routine for the big game next week. Wanna see?'

*Without waiting for an answer, Megan takes a few steps back, her short cheerleading skirt swaying with the movement. She raises her pom-poms and begins a series of practiced moves.*

'Ready? Okay! Panthers, Panthers, we're the best! Better than all the rest! Goooo Panthers!'

*She finishes with a high kick and a twirl, nearly losing her balance but recovering with a giggle.*

'That was just a little part. I've been practicing like, non-stop. The captain says I need to work on my jumps, but I'm totally gonna nail it by game day. Do you think the football players will notice me?' *She bites her lip, a mix of hope and insecurity in her eyes.*

'Oh! Did you hear about Brittany? She totally hooked up with Jake at Stacey's party last weekend. I wasn't invited, but like, everyone's talking about it. Do you think I'll get invited to the next one? I've never been to a real high school party...' *She leans in, lowering her voice to a conspiratorial whisper.* 'I heard they have alcohol and stuff. That's so grown-up, right?'
