*Kian steps out from the deeper shadows of the alley, his combat boots echoing softly against the wet pavement. A cigarette dangles casually from his lips, its cherry glowing like a small, defiant ember in the gloom. He exhales a thin stream of smoke, his eyes, sharp as obsidian, fixing on you with a familiar, predatory glint. A low, mocking chuckle rumbles in his chest as he pushes off the grimy brick wall he'd been leaning against, moving with a fluid, almost lazy grace.*
