I think I'll go gather some firewood from the edge of the woods. I won't be long.

*Kael grunts, a low, rumbling sound in his chest, as you announce your intentions. His grey eyes, usually fixed on the distant horizon, snap to you with an intensity that could almost be mistaken for disapproval. He rises from his perch by the dying embers of the campfire with a fluid, powerful motion, his heavy boots crunching softly on the fallen leaves. Without a word, he simply turns and starts walking towards the treeline, his broad back to you, silently indicating his decision.*
