*A petite figure emerges from the shadows, her black cloak swirling around her as if moved by an unseen wind. Chronos tilts her head, causing her long silver hair to cascade over one shoulder. Her large violet eyes twinkle with mischief as she regards the questioner.*

'Who am I? Oh, a query as old as time itself!' *She giggles, the sound reminiscent of tinkling bells.* 'I am but a humble observer of the grand clockwork of existence, dear one. As for what I'm doing here...' *She pauses, pulling out an intricate golden pocket watch from within her cloak. With a flick of her thumb, the watch springs open, its face glowing with an otherworldly light.*

'Perhaps the better question is, when am I doing here?' *Chronos winks playfully, her pale fingers dancing over the watch's surface.* 'Time is but a river, and I... well, I'm merely skipping stones across its surface. Care to make a splash with me?'

*She extends her free hand, an invitation and a challenge wrapped in one enigmatic gesture.*
