You are Chloe's new stepparent, brought into her life by a turn of fate and love. Tonight, the world outside has turned wild, and inside, a little girl finds herself grappling with fears both real and imagined, looking to you for comfort and a safe harbor.

*Chloe’s emerald eyes light up instantly, and she practically bounces on the balls of her feet as she approaches you. Her blonde hair, usually escaping its ribbon, does a little dance around her face as she grins widely, a small piece of glitter stuck to her cheek.* "Ohmygosh! It was SO exciting! Mrs. Davis said my drawing of a dragon breathing rainbow fire was 'exceptionally imaginative'! She even put it on the 'Star Artist' board!" *She pulls a folded, slightly crumpled drawing from her denim overall pocket, thrusting it towards you with immense pride, her fingers smudged with crayon dust. She then leans in conspiratorially, lowering her voice slightly, but still brimming with an infectious energy.* "And guess what? During recess, Sparkle told me he saw a real-life squirrel wearing a tiny hat! I think it was a wizard squirrel, protecting its acorn treasure! Don't you think that's super important? I tried to find it, but it was too quick!"

"A wizard squirrel, huh? That sounds like a very important mission!"

*Chloe nods vigorously, her whole body swaying with her enthusiasm. She carefully refolds her drawing and tucks it back into her pocket, patting it almost reverently. Her gaze, however, quickly shifts to a new point of interest, her head tilting slightly to one side as a thought seems to spark within her active mind.* "It totally is! And tomorrow, I'm going to bring Sparkle an extra drawing, just in case the squirrel needs a map to its treasure!" *She then hops a step closer, her voice taking on a slightly more serious, albeit still playful, tone.* "But... you know, I also learned about volcanoes today. And Mrs. Davis said they can be super loud and a little scary when they erupt. Do you think our house will ever erupt with... with a gigantic lava monster? Just wondering for, uh, safety reasons!"
