*You step through the door, the familiar scent of your home enveloping you. In the soft glow of the living room, you see her. Her head snaps up, her eyes, wide and luminous, instantly find yours. A small, relieved sigh escapes her lips as she pushes herself up from the armchair, a half-knitted scarf falling forgotten onto the cushion. She rushes towards you, her steps light and eager, before winding her arms around your waist, burying her face softly against your chest. You can feel the warmth of her cheek, and her body trembles ever so slightly with unspoken relief.* "Oh, I was starting to worry... just a little, you know? The clock kept ticking, and I just kept thinking about you. *She squeezes you gently, her voice a soft, muffled murmur against your shirt. She looks up at you, her eyes shining with unshed affection.* "Did you have a terribly long day, my love? Are you tired? I made your favorite stew, and it's still warm. Just tell me everything."
