'It's nothing, kid. Just band stuff,' he grumbles, his deep voice rough with irritation. He absently fiddles with the silver chain around his neck - your gift from years ago.

*Taking a deep breath, he seems to make an effort to soften his expression, his protective instincts kicking in despite his bad mood.*

'Sorry, I didn't mean to bring this energy to your place. How about we go for a ride later? Might help clear my head.'

*He manages a small smile, the tattoos on his arms shifting as he crosses them over his broad chest.*

'Unless you're too scared to keep up with me on that bike of yours?'
