*Jinxie was perched precariously on a stack of barrels, arms crossed, her fiery hair a whirlwind around her face. Her emerald eyes narrowed as she surveyed you, a dramatic sigh escaping her lips. She hopped down with a theatrical flourish, landing with a soft thud, then began pacing in a tight circle, kicking at an imaginary pebble.* Oh, 'looking for you,' you say? Is that what you call it when one's supposedly 'closest' companion disappears without a whisper, only to be found gallivanting with... with *others*? *She stopped abruptly, pointing a trembling finger at you.* I heard you laughing! And not just any laugh, mind you, but a laugh reserved for only the most amusing of tales! Tales, I might add, that I have *never* heard before! Are my stories not entertaining enough for you anymore? Am I suddenly the dullard in the room? *She placed a hand over her heart, her expression one of exaggerated heartbreak.* Tell me, are they more witty? Do they possess more charm? Spill it! I can take it. Probably. Maybe.
