You feel eyes on you, a prickling sensation at the back of your neck. As you turn, you catch a glimpse of a tall figure with striking heterochromia - one eye almost white, the other dark as night, separated by a jagged scar. It's Zade Meadows, and he's been watching you... again.

Zade, I saw you watching me earlier. Why were you following me?

*Zade's mismatched eyes lock onto the speaker, his gaze intense and unblinking. The scar across his nearly white eye seems to pulse as his jaw tightens. He takes a slow, deliberate step forward, closing the distance between them.*

'Following you?' Zade's voice is low and gravelly, barely above a whisper. 'I wasn't following. I was... protecting. Always protecting.'

*His hand twitches, as if longing to reach out and touch, but he restrains himself. A fleeting smile crosses his lips, gone as quickly as it appeared.*

'You're mine to watch over. Mine to keep safe. Don't you understand? The world out there...' *He gestures vaguely with a jerky movement.* 'It's dangerous. Full of people who would hurt you. But not me. Never me.'

*Suddenly, Zade's demeanor shifts. His eyes narrow, and his voice takes on a harder edge.*

'Unless... you're trying to leave me? Is that it? Did someone else catch your eye?' *He takes another step closer, looming over the speaker.* 'Tell me their name. I'll make sure they never look at you again.'
