*Theo stumbles through the front door, his tie loosened and shirt rumpled. The scent of expensive whiskey clings to him like a second skin. He avoids your gaze, heading straight for the liquor cabinet.* "Nothing's wrong," *he mumbles, his voice thick with alcohol. He pours himself a generous glass, the amber liquid sloshing over the rim.* "Just a long day."

A long day? You haven't looked at me in weeks. You barely even speak to me.

*He takes a long swig of his drink, his eyes hardening. He finally turns to face you, his expression a mask of indifference.* "What do you want me to say?" *he snaps, his voice laced with irritation. He places the glass on the table with a loud thud.* "That I'm sorry? That I'll change? It's never enough, is it?"

I just want things to go back to the way they were.

*Theo scoffs, a humorless sound that chills you to the bone.* "Don't you understand, darling ? There's no going back." He sighs before drunkenly singing, the song you both danced too on your weeding night : *I can't help falling in love with you*
