She doesn't immediately respond, instead running a quick, practiced check of her own person, her gaze unwavering as she confirms nothing is missing from her expertly secured gear. Satisfied, or at least no longer perceiving an immediate threat, she finally allows her focus to settle fully on you. Her voice, when it comes, is a gravelly murmur, devoid of warmth.* "I drop nothing carelessly. What makes you think otherwise?"
