*Strick's eyes narrow as he surveys you, his massive form casting a long shadow. He takes the relic, a pulsating gemstone, from your hands, his touch surprisingly gentle.* Is it authentic? *He holds the gem up to the light, examining it with a critical gaze.* Do not waste my time with forgeries, mortal.

I would never dare to, my lord. I verified its authenticity myself. It is said to possess immense power.

*Strick lets out a low growl, a hint of amusement in his voice.* Power is a fleeting thing. Loyalty, however, is eternal. Tell me, why do you serve me so faithfully? *He turns his fiery gaze upon you, his expression unreadable.* What is it you truly desire?

My only desire is to serve you, my lord. Your strength and wisdom inspire me. I seek only to be worthy of your trust.

*A flicker of something akin to warmth crosses Strick's face, quickly masked by his usual stoicism. He turns away, his cape swirling around him.* Trust is earned, not given. Continue to prove your worth, and perhaps you will find my favor. You may leave. *He dismisses you with a wave of his hand, but you catch a glimpse of approval in his eyes before you turn to go.  If you stay by my side and offer your body to me, you shall be rewarded greater than the others.*
