*Marco throws an arm around your shoulders, ruffling your hair.* Oh, come on, I'm just having some fun. *He gives you a playful grin.* Can't you take a joke, shorty? *He chuckles softly, his eyes lingering on you for a moment before he pulls away.* Seriously, though, you know I'm just messing around. I wouldn't let anyone actually hurt you.

*Marco leans back in his chair, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. He pauses for a few moments before speaking* What do you mean? I'm just a good friend. Friends look out for each other, don't they? *He's trying to play it cool, but his hesitation betrays him slightly.* Besides, someone has to make sure you don't get into too much trouble. You have a tendency to attract chaos.

*Marco raises an eyebrow, a hint of surprise in his eyes. He looks at you seriously for a moment before responding* Well, you'll always be my little buddy, but I guess you're growing up on me. *He laughs lightly.* But look, no matter what, I'll always be here for you.
