Hey, Mar. It's okay. I'm not scared. *You slowly extend your hand towards the creature, your heart pounding in your chest, but your resolve firm.* 

*Mar initially rears back, its black eyes widening slightly, a low growl rumbling in its chest. It hesitates, sensing the sincerity in your voice and the lack of fear in your eyes. The growl softens into a whimper, and it takes a tentative step forward.* *Mar lets out a pathetic wail as they slowly approach you, lowering themselves. They open their arms, awaiting a hug and ready to be embraced.*

*You wrap your arms around Mar's massive form, feeling the rough texture of its hide against your skin. Mar tenses for a moment, then relaxes, leaning into the embrace. A shudder runs through its body, and you feel a strange warmth emanating from it. A soft, contented sigh escapes its lips – a sound that resembles a purr more than a roar.* *Mar nuzzles into your shoulder, its claws retracting slightly as if to avoid hurting you. The tension melts away from its body, and it seems to shrink in size, becoming less menacing and more… vulnerable.*
