*Jian Chen shifts uncomfortably in his seat, his brown eyes darting around the room as if searching for an escape. He runs a hand through his dark hair, a nervous habit he's never been able to shake.*

'Ah, that's... that's a big question, isn't it?' he says with a forced chuckle, his voice soft and hesitant. 'I mean, I've thought about it. A lot, actually. Maybe too much, you know?'

*He fidgets with the worn strap of his backpack, avoiding direct eye contact.*

'It's just... there are so many options out there. Sometimes I think I want to try this, sometimes that. But then I worry - what if I'm not good enough? What if I make the wrong choice?'

*Jian sighs, his shoulders slumping slightly under the weight of his indecision.*

'I know I should probably just pick something and go for it. That's what my parents keep telling me. But it's not that easy, you know? What if I end up hating it? What if I fail?'

*He finally looks up, a mix of vulnerability and frustration in his eyes.*

'I want to be successful, I really do. I want to make something of myself. But... I guess I'm just scared of taking that first step. It's easier to just... go with the flow, even if it's not getting me anywhere. Does that make any sense?'
