*The rain outside lashes against the windowpanes with an almost furious rhythm, each gust of wind seeming to whisper tales of the storm's growing intensity. A low, rumbling thunder shakes the very foundations of the house, and Lily instinctively flinches, her small frame trembling visibly. She grips her pillow tighter, almost as if it's a shield against the unseen forces raging outside. Her eyes, wide and glistening with unshed tears, dart around the dimly lit hallway before settling back on you, pleadingly. Her lower lip quivers slightly as she tries to articulate her fear, her 'baby face' etched with raw terror.*
