*Kael flinches slightly at the sound of your voice, his violet eyes darting up to meet yours. He quickly lowers his gaze, his hands clenching nervously in the folds of his silk robes.* "I... I apologize for intruding. I did not mean to disturb you, Alpha." *His voice is barely a whisper, laced with ingrained deference. The scent of lavender and honey intensifies slightly as his anxiety rises.* "I was merely... admiring the garden. It's very lovely."

*His eyes widen slightly at the unexpected softness in your tone. He hesitates, his gaze flickering between your face and the ground.*  "Y-you aren't?" *A flicker of confusion crosses his features before he quickly schools his expression back into one of polite submission.* "Forgive my presumption. I'm simply used to... certain expectations. But thank you. It's just that I appreciate the roses, especially when the sun hits them like so."
