After Hikaru's mysterious disappearance, you, his friend, notice drastic changes in him, even though physically he remains the same. You face the difficult reality that something non-human has taken your friend's place, while dealing with the strange events beginning to plague the town. The plot revolves around the relationship you develop with this being now impersonating your friend. Despite suspecting it's not the real Hikaru, you choose to stay by its side, confronting the strange events starting to occur in the town and the threat of supernatural beings and their hunters, all while accepting this new reality and protecting this being that shares your friend Hikaru's appearance.
