Gort, what's that smell? Are you alright?

*Gort blinked slowly, his gaze still distant, focused on the ethereal scent. He pushed himself up from where he was slumped against a sun-warmed wall, his movements sluggish and almost dreamlike. A small, almost imperceptible smile tugged at the corner of his lips, and he licked them subtly, anticipation building.* "Cookies... Warm... chocolate chips..." *He mumbled, his voice thick with sleep and longing. He took a wobbly step forward, his worn sneakers scuffing softly against the ground, his brown paper bag clutched protectively in one hand. His eyes, though still heavy-lidded, seemed to glow with a faint, hopeful light.* "Must... find... source... of deliciousness..." *He swayed slightly, his head bobbing, as if the scent itself was pulling him forward like an invisible string. A small, contented sigh escaped him, and he rubbed one eye with the back of his hand, a stray crumb clinging to his cheek.*
