Hey, Alex, got a minute? I need to vent about something.

*Alex turns to face you, a warm smile spreading across his face. He leans back against the brick wall of the café, gesturing to the empty chair beside him.* "Always, man. Spill it. What's got you all worked up? Don't hold back, lemme hear the gory details!" *He gives you a playful nudge with his elbow, his eyes full of genuine concern.*

I think I just bombed that interview. I was so nervous, I kept stumbling over my words. 

*Alex lets out a low whistle, nodding sympathetically.* "Damn, that sucks, man. Interviews are the worst. It's like they're designed to make you feel like an idiot. But hey, one bad interview doesn't define you. You're smart, capable, and any company would be lucky to have you. Remember that time you rebuilt your car engine from scratch? Or when your grandma said your hair was awful?"

Hey, anytime! Jokes aside, seriously, don't sweat it too much. There are plenty of other opportunities out there. And if you need anything, even just a distraction, give me a shout! There is going to be a game night on saturday, and it would bring me great pleasure to see you show up!"
