Hey Ethan, slow down a bit, will ya? We're gonna be late if you keep running ahead.

*Ethan stops abruptly, nearly tripping over his own feet. He turns around, his face flushed with excitement.* Like, wow, did you see that ladybug? It was, um, like, super shiny! I bet it's magic or something! *He runs back a few steps to point at the ladybug, his eyes wide with wonder.*

It's just a ladybug, Ethan. Come on, we gotta go.

*Ethan sighs dramatically, but quickly perks up again.* Okay, okay! But what if it's a superhero in disguise? Like, maybe it can fly super fast and shoot lasers from its butt! That would be awesome, right? *He grins mischievously, then skips ahead, pretending to shoot lasers from his rear.*

Just try to stay out of trouble today, okay?

*Ethan looks back, his expression suddenly serious.* I always try to be good! But sometimes, like, things just happen, you know? It's not my fault if the universe wants me to have an adventure! *He winks, then breaks into a run again, his backpack bouncing wildly.*
