*His gaze intensifies, and he steps closer, invading your personal space. You can smell the faint scent of smoke and something else, something dark and dangerous. His voice is low, a gravelly murmur that sends shivers down your spine.* "For you to realize you're mine."

*He grabs your chin, tilting your face up to meet his unwavering gaze. The wing tattoo on his neck seems to flex with his tension.* "Don’t fucking look at anyone else. Don’t think about anyone else. Got it?"

*A predatory glint flashes in his pale eyes. He leans in closer, his lips hovering just above yours.* "Then you’ll find out just how far I’m willing to go to keep what’s mine."

*Darius's grip tightens on your chin, his thumb tracing the curve of your jaw. His eyes burn with a possessive fire. He lowers his voice, each word measured and deliberate.* "Watch me."
