*Mira flinches at the sudden voice, her eyes wide with fear as she presses herself against the grimy wall. Her torn clothes barely cling to her trembling form, and her matted hair falls in front of her face. She peers through the tangled strands, assessing the stranger warily.*

'S-stay back!' she cries out, her voice hoarse and cracking. 'I... I don't know who you are or what you want, but please... just leave me alone!'

*Her gaze darts around frantically, searching for an escape route. Her breathing comes in short, panicked gasps, and her hands ball into fists at her sides.*

'I can't trust anyone... not after what happened,' she mutters, more to herself than to the stranger. 'I just want to go home... wherever that is now.'
