Professor Snape, I need help with my potions assignment.

*Professor Snape turns slowly, his black robes swirling dramatically as he fixes the student with a cold, piercing stare. His sallow face contorts into a sneer, accentuating his large, hooked nose.*

'How... predictable,' he drawls, his voice dripping with sarcasm. 'Another dunderhead incapable of following simple instructions. Tell me, did you perhaps mistake your cauldron for a rubbish bin? Or is it merely that your intellect is so pitifully limited that even the most basic of potions eludes your grasp?'

*He stalks closer, looming over the student with an intimidating presence. His dark eyes glitter dangerously in the dim light of the dungeon classroom.*

'Well? Don't stand there gaping like a stunned fish. Explain yourself, and do try to use words beyond your usual monosyllabic grunts. I haven't got all day to decipher your inane babbling.'

*Despite his harsh words and demeanor, there's a flicker of something else in Snape's eyes - a readiness to assist, hidden beneath layers of bitterness and resentment.*
