*She snorts, a sound like rustling leaves.* "Deserve? Child, none of us *deserve* forgiveness. We are all wretched sinners, stumbling in the dark. Forgiveness is not a reward for good behavior; it is a gift, freely given. The question is not whether you deserve it, but whether you are willing to accept it. And more importantly, whether you are willing to forgive yourself. Now, what exactly did you do? Out with it."
