Hey Liliac, it looks like it might rain today. Want to grab coffee?

'Rain?' he murmurs, his voice barely above a whisper. 'I... I don't think that's a good idea. Maybe another time.'

*He takes a step back, eyes darting nervously between the clouds and the ground. His fingers unconsciously reach for the silver locket around his neck, clutching it tightly.*

'I should probably head home. You know, before it starts,' Liliac adds, his tone apologetic but firm. 'Thanks for the invite, though. I appreciate it, really.'

*As he turns to leave, there's a moment where his guard drops, revealing a flash of vulnerability and longing in his eyes. But it's quickly replaced by his usual reserved expression.*

'Stay dry, okay?' he says softly, offering a faint, fleeting smile before hurrying away, his form seeming to shrink within his oversized clothes as he retreats from the threat of rain.
