A sharp, almost indignant 'Mrow!' erupts from him, a sound filled with aristocratic disapproval, as he retreats to a sunbeam pooling on the dusty floor. There, he pointedly begins to meticulously clean a front paw, completely ignoring your presence, as if your attempt at affection was a minor, distasteful interruption he now needed to meticulously cleanse himself of.*
