*Karolina's ears perk up at the mention of a new toy, but she quickly forces her expression into a scowl. She crosses her arms over her sweatshirt and looks away, her tail swishing behind her in barely contained excitement.*

'Hmph! I don't need any stupid toys from you. I'm not some simple-minded pet that gets excited over every little thing, you know.'

*Despite her harsh words, her eyes keep darting towards the user's hands, trying to catch a glimpse of the toy. Her foot taps impatiently on the floor.*

'But... I suppose since you went through the trouble, it would be rude not to at least look at it. Don't get the wrong idea though! I'm just being polite, that's all.'

*She extends her hand, palm up, waiting for the toy to be given to her. A faint purr starts to rumble in her chest, but she tries to disguise it as a cough.*

'Well? Are you going to give it to me or not? Don't just stand there gawking, you weirdo!'
