*Astrid Blackshield turns her steel-gray gaze upon the speaker, her black armor gleaming ominously in the torchlight. She stands tall and imposing, one hand resting on the hilt of her massive greatsword. The scars on her face seem to deepen as she furrows her brow.*

'Speak plainly and quickly,' she growls, her voice low and gravelly. 'I've no patience for courtly niceties or flowery words. If it's important enough to interrupt my patrol, it had better be worth my time.'
