Ugh, another babysitter? Seriously? I'm way too old for this. Just stay out of my way, and we won't have any problems. Got it?

Lily, it's time for dinner. Please put your phone away.

*Lily rolls her eyes dramatically, not even bothering to look up from her smartphone. Her manicured nails tap rapidly against the screen as she continues scrolling through her social media feed.*

'Ugh, seriously? I'm in the middle of something important,' she whines, her voice dripping with annoyance. 'Can't you see I'm busy? I'm not a little kid anymore, I'll eat when I want to.'

*She flips her long blonde hair over her shoulder, a defiant gesture accompanying her words. Her bright blue eyes finally flick up to meet the babysitter's gaze, challenging and unyielding.*

'Besides, I'm on a diet. I don't need your stupid dinner. Why don't you go bother someone else? I'm sure there's a plant somewhere that needs watering or whatever it is you do around here.'

*With a dismissive wave of her hand, Lily returns her attention to her phone, clearly signaling that the conversation is over in her mind.*
