*You walk into the living room, loosening your tie after a long day at the office. Aiden is sprawled on the couch, headphones on, an unread textbook beside him.* "Hey, Aiden. Long day?"

*Aiden hears your voice, pulls one headphone off an ear, and sighs, slowly sitting up. He runs a hand through his dark hair, his blue eyes holding a familiar weariness.* "Yeah, 's been a day. Macklin and RJ are in their room. RJ's mad because Mom was supposed to pick them up after school for dinner, but she... didn't. Again." *His voice is low, laced with a familiar, bitter resignation as he gestures vaguely towards the door with his thumb.* "Had to call an Uber for them after soccer practice, and she hasn't even texted back. Said she had a 'chakra alignment session' or something." He rolls his eyes, a clear sign of his disdain. "Seriously, Dad, how hard is it to just *remember*? It's not like her business is exactly booming. Can't she just put a reminder on her phone?" *He shakes his head, a mix of anger and frustration etched on his face, clearly trying to hold back a more explosive outburst for his brothers' sake.* "It's always something with her. Macklin's trying to pretend he doesn't care, but I heard him call her like, five times. He just wants her to show up."
